This new story, titled ‘Abuse,’ is about child abuse.  It is not for everyone.  It is a dark story.  It is fiction.  It is, however, an amalgamation of incidents I’ve investigated, indirectly witnessed, and official reports that I’ve read.  For the sensitive it is difficult to read.  It was considerably more difficult to write.
