Joe Biden vs Donald Trump... Nikki Haley

Before long, we will be selecting a new President; and, as circumstances now appear it will be Joe Biden verses Donald Trump.  I don't feel comfortable regarding either.  Friends suggest voting for the one that I dislike the least.  I suppose that is something I should consider.

Donald Trump’s legal woes:  I am not sure what to make of them.  Most of my career in law enforcement and corporate security revolved around laws and putting together criminal cases that were compatible with the law.  The violations to which Trump is now charged, esoteric to say the least, one would have to be an attorney to understand the elements of the crime and their significance, if any.  One of the charges is that Trump consistently overvalued his properties to obtain loans.  What in the heck does that mean?  Did anyone lose money, was anyone harmed?   Who is the victim?  Where is the victim?  Who is demanding criminal recourse?  Isn't this a civil matter?

Secondly, Trump allegedly attempted to undermine the Presidential Election of 2020.  Well, he did claim there was fraud involved.  However, I can say with total confidence, fraud did exist in the election.  Fraud always has and it always will.  The question is ‘how much’?  Thanks to our Electoral College System, fraud is somewhat minimized.  How?  Because some states have considerably more fraud than others.

On the other hand, I have a good understanding of the criminal conduct associated with the Biden family.  This is the selling of political access and presumed favors from the likes of Joe Biden, the former Vice President, and now President.  Vast amounts of money have questionably relocated from outside operatives (including the Communist Chinese) to the Biden family’s coffers through many suspicious companies used (undoubtedly) to ‘launder the money’ or disguise the origin.  This is the prima facia indicator of all organized crime operations.  The money was unquestionably illegal compensation intended to obtain access or political favors from Biden.  Considering these actions by the Biden family, your best argument, your only argument, might be…  ‘That’s what most politicians do.’  OK, sadly, you might be right.  None the less, the Biden family’s illicit operations included fraudulent money laundering and tax evasion… prosecutable crimes.  Furthermore, Joe Biden must be exceptionally good at selling political favors, he and his extended family have become multi-millionaires on Biden’s basic government salary… the American taxpayer is an easy mark… ignorant sheep… why not take advantage?  Under the current circumstances, no sensible person would vote for Biden.

However, many otherwise sensible people will vote against Trump; and might hand over a second term to Biden.

It is time US citizens acknowledge that President Biden is not a fully functional human being (sad but true).  We must consider: ‘Who exactly is running our country and fraudulently propping up the Ghost President?’  Can we afford to gamble that no foreign government will use Biden’s cognitive decline and incompetence to further their own gains?  And, if so, what will be the consequences?

My hope (if there is still time) is that a strong contender in the Democratic Party will pull forward and allow (dare I say force) Joe to retire.  And give the Democrats a modicum of pride in their vote.

Regarding Donald Trump, if he was to win the Presidency, he will be endlessly bogged down in the criminal and civil charges that are stalking him.  The Presidency requires someone’s full attention.  Trump carries with him almost insurmountable criminal and civil litigation.  Are those charges against Trump politically motivated?  Yes, of course, almost certainly.  But still, we will need a ‘full time’ President to lead us through the many critical times we will be facing during the next four years.  Not someone largely distracted, as Trump will be, in personal legal matters.  And what may possibly include jail time or restrictive probation status.  Can a President pardon himself?

Just heard an interesting poll.  If the Presidential Race was held today, Trump would beat Biden by ‘one percentage point.’  DeSantis would beat Biden by ‘three points,’ and Nikki Haley would beat Biden by ‘eight points.  Nikki Haley could be a big winner in the election, if she could dislodge TrumpShe will have my vote in the Oregon Primary

JR-15, Operational Firearm, modeled after the AR-15... but made for children!

I don’t want to spend a lot of time on this subject, but it was mentioned to me by some friends.  I said I would check it out.  Initially, I thought this was a joke; but sadly it is not.

A company Wee 1 Tactics has developed a smaller version of the AR-15… a version designed for kids.  It is referred to in their advertisement as the JR-15.  It is 20% smaller than the original, weighs just 2.3lbs, a single shot, using .22LR ammunition.  Its cost is $400+ dollars retail.

The Forrest Gump quotation comes to mind… ‘Stupid is as stupid does.’  Not sure if this applies to the manufacturer or to any potential buyers (maybe both).  I am sure this manufacturer plans to make a lot of money.  And I am fairly sure there are a few fathers out there who feel this will be a wonderful gift for their son, or daughter.   Hopefully, there are mothers out there who will veto the idea.

The image of the JR-15 directly relates, and negatively so, to our times.  I am, of course, referring to school shootings committed by grade schoolers.  Are we not all aware that times have changed and not for the better?  School shootings, often involving a young person, are a national tragedy.  Are we not paying attention?

Yes, our young people (if they express interest) eventually need to be familiar with the safe handling of guns.  I did that with my own son and daughter.  But, I didn’t do it with a miniature AR-15 which is, and is marketed as, nothing more than a ‘toy.’  Albeit a potentially dangerous and deadly toy.

The Biden Family... Are you whistling in a coal mine?

If you aren’t particularly concerned about what is occurring in our country politically; and nonetheless you consider yourself ‘informed’… well, I would describe your position as, not to be too offensive, Whistling in a Coal Mine.

The last couple of years that I was an Agent with the FBI in San Francisco, I was assigned to the Organized Crime Squad.  So, I hope that gives me some insights that you might find helpful.

Organized Crime investigations start with a premise; if not initially ‘probable cause’, at least a reasonable, documentable suspicion.  The first source might be a public agency of some kind.  It might be an informant with knowledge.  It might even be a well-documented news report or article.

Based on that information, there are considerable preliminary investigations and interviews.  I won’t go into the details.

Did you know that the most difficult problem for those involved in ‘organized crime,’ and includes all manner of organized crime (illegal drugs, embezzlement, extortion, political corruption etc.) is what to do with the proceeds, THE MONEY.  For the most part, in an organized crime structure, there is no problem acquiring the money.  It’s how do you then explain the money, and subsequently convert that money to something you can use.  Well, if you are a petty criminal, you can just try dealing in cash… but that can be a concept short-lived and easily detected.  Big time criminals, on the other hand, who deal in millions of dollars have phony businesses, numerous bank accounts, and money laundering schemes both in the U.S. and overseas.  Money laundering:  This is their expertise and potentially their weakness.

The law enforcement investigator’s principal objective is to ‘follow the money.’  The IRS employs experts in following money through various banks and investment schemes to the final recipients of the suspicious / ill-gotten / money.  Does this in any way remind you of the Biden family’s situation?

When Hunter Biden’s international and very lucrative ‘consulting’ became more suspect… inexplicable, and politically embarrassing… he became more creative (so to speak).  He became a painter – of abstract art.  There was no developing his artistic reputation and the praise of art critics.  Not at all.  Purchasers of his artistic endeavors seemed to stumble over themselves to buy his paintings.  How very curious.  That said, Hunter was not prepared to say who purchased the paintings or how much they paid.  Strange, don’t you think?

There are many laws that cover the ins and outs of money transferred through our banking systems.  Specialized laws designed to ferret out illegal profits from organized crime and tax evaders.  The experts to follow this money are specially trained and experienced Agents of the Internal Revenue Service in conjunction with the FBI.

Last comment:  Does it concern you that officials of the Federal Government stopped the IRS investigators from continuing to follow the money in the Hunter Biden inquiry?  Why would they?  All the indicators of fraud and corruption are there.  What’s the answer?  I could spell this out for you, but you already know the answer.  At least all of you other than those who continue to ‘whistle in a coal mine.’

Hunter Biden / Christopher Wray (FBI) / the Association!

H

1)    After all that has come down regarding Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and the Biden family, does anyone now doubt that there are corrupt / illegal practices involved in enriching the Biden Clan?  How did this corruption metastasize to such an extent?  Why didn’t Barrack Obama, as President, put a stop to it when he was President?  Is corruption so endemic in political circles, particularly in DC, that everyone, to one degree or another, plays the game, or simply ignores it to preserve their own jobs?  And, of course, corrupt elected politicians have many well-heeled and influential accomplices in government, business, as well as academia… all those (and there are many) also feeding at the trough.  ‘We the people’ are ‘we the chumps’ who pay for the fraud and corruption.

As a former FBI Agent on the Organized Crime Squad in San Francisco, it is my opinion that, under customary legal standards, the Biden entanglements are adequate grounds to open a Federal RICO investigation (Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization Act).  Look it up.  Read the presumptive elements of the crime.  You will probably agree?  I think most former and current Bureau Agents would.

2)  Is Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI also corrupt or simply ‘looking the other way’?  As a former FBI Agent, I have my opinion.  At the very least, he is either over his head in the ‘deep state’ or simply watching out for himself – probably both.  I’m sure the credibility and integrity of the FBI is of little or no concern to him.  A lucrative post-Bureau career is his principal focus.

The Dying Citizen, a book by Victor Davis Hanson... and, if I may, state in conclusion.

A considerable time has passed since my last blog post.  I'm discouraged, even kind of sad.  It is as if this country is transforming, declining before my eyes.  And, it is not a pretty site.  Some friends, some family (not all of course, just a few) have expressed the viewpoint that I've become (or are becoming) some sort of disagreeable 'old timer'; and that, in one way or another, maybe unknowingly, I am often referring to the 'good ole days.'  Even though, in my apparently antiquated opinion, those 'good ole days' are in fact behind us.

Life never was perfect, often hard for many; but comparatively speaking, we had laws that were enforced.  We didn't have the massive numbers of homeless, drug addicted, and what one might accurately describe as 'every conceivable variety of criminal imaginable roaming our streets.'

I live near Portland, Oregon.  Not too many years back, Portland was a beautiful and welcoming city.  It isn't any more.  People are leaving in droves.  Did you know that the population of Portland has declined the past three years; and that this rush to the door is the first time it has occurred in Portland's history.  Those that can are packing their bags.  I, too, will eventually move on one way or another.

As a former FBI Agent, I think I can say, with some insight, that 'said agency' has been politically corrupted by Christopher Wray and his entrenched supporters.  Those who serve him should hang your heads in shame.  'Take a knee to the woke.'  'Agents have you no self-respect, no pride?'

I encourage anyone who happens upon this post to read (and buy) Victor Davis Hanson's new book... The Dying Citizen. It's not a particularly easy read, but it is a wealth of information that every 'decent citizen' should read and open their minds to understand.  Get your high-lighter out, and make some notes as you read, you will become a better 'informed citizen.'
